STAGFIRE LLC builds, stocks and tests outdoor gear from our base in Vernal, Utah, where the high desert meets the mountain west. Every product we carry has passed through a real camp, a real trail and a real fire before it earns a place on our shelf, and every trip we run follows the same standard. We believe that good planning does the hard work, so your days can stay simple and your nights can stay warm around a well-built fire. We are a small crew of guides, gear builders and ranch hands who spend our weeks out in the field and our evenings around the fire ring. We stock what we trust, we run the trips we would book for our own families, and we teach the skills every outdoor person needs before the sun goes down. Nothing on this page is generic or repurposed. Everything we offer has a place in a real backcountry day, and every recommendation comes from someone who has spent the night in the same weather you will face.
Camping and Trail Gear
We carry a focused range of tents, shelters, sleeping bags, pads, packs and trail footwear chosen for the high desert and the mountain west. Every item is field tested in the exact seasons you will use it, from dry summer nights to cold shoulder-season trips. We favor gear that is simple to repair and easy to maintain, because a trail repair should take minutes, not an afternoon, and a broken zipper should never end a weekend. Our staff can fit a pack to your frame, set up a new shelter with you on the floor, and walk you through the care routine before you pay. You will leave with the right kit and the knowledge to keep it working for years. If something fails in the field, bring it back and we will talk through the fix together.

Guided Outdoor Trips
Our guides run small-group trips across the Uinta Basin and the nearby high country, from weekend basecamps to multi-day pack trips. Each itinerary is built around the season, the weather and the people in the group, with a strong bias toward beautiful campsites and unhurried days. We carry the heavy items, we secure the permits and we manage the logistics, so you can focus on the view and the company around the fire. Every trip starts with a full safety briefing and a clear communication plan, led by a guide with real backcountry experience. We keep group sizes small on purpose, because quiet camps are better camps and small groups move lighter. Family trips, group outings and solo additions are all welcome.

Outdoor Safety and Training
Confidence in the backcountry comes from preparation, so we run practical training in fire safety, navigation, first aid and camp craft. Our courses favor hands-on time over classroom slides, and every session ends with skills you have actually practiced in the dirt. We teach land navigation with map and compass before we touch electronics, because batteries fail and a folded map does not. Fire safety is a core class here, covering safe fire rings, wind, proper extinguishing and leave no trace habits for every site. We also offer private training for families, ranch crews and small teams heading into remote work. Ask us about combination courses that pair a gear fitting with a full field day.
